So Hillarious You'll Laugh Your Whiskers Off!

First Time Caring For a Furry Friend

It's your first time taking care of a cat. You don't know what to do, or how to do it. You don't save up for kitten food and your parents say "It's your responsibility". You don't have a litter box or anything. You don't know how to train it to go in the litter box, stay off the furniture, or settle down. You just don't know where to begin!

Well you're in luck, because here's how.
1. First you need to make sure you have basic items.
  • Litter box, litter
  • Cat bed
  • Food and water dish, cat/kitten food
  • Cat treats (optional)
  • Brush (optional)
2. Now that you have all the things you need let's get started. You should set your bed in a dry, clear, shady place where the cat can rest. Also make sure it's not near any furniture because when the cat is up to stretch it might claw the furniture.

3. Now you may want to teach it how to not go on the furniture. Put its food bowls away from furniture. Make sure it's not going to make a habit of playing near the furniture and getting hair on it. You can use treats to lure them away from the furniture.

4. You might want to brush the cat often. Especially if it has long fur. You don't want ticks and fleas in your house.

5. Make sure you set your litter box (obviously with the litter in it) in a place you won't usually be ;).

6. Put your food and water dish in a place where the cat will always go, where they will always have access to and if you have an upstairs I suggest you keep the dishes downstairs.

Tip!
If your cat/kitten is 100% your responsibility, a suggestion  is save up 20% of your weekly allowance or 20% of your savings(if you don't get weekly allowance)
